Hamed Engineering Services LLC`s (HES) strong roots in the Sultanate of Oman stretch back to 1984 when Electrowatt Engineering Services , Switzerland established their foreign branch office in the Sultanate of Oman. During the following decades Electrowatt became one of the largest independent Engineering and Consulting Company in Oman and a significant player in the Energy ( O&G), Power Generation , Transmission and Distribution Sector. Later the Brand name of Electrowatt was changed to Poyry. In the Year 2013 Poyry sold their entire stake to Hamed Engineering Services LLC and has been operating as an independent Engineering & Consulting Company serving many Clients in some of the prestigious projects and adding "In Country Value" to the Sultanate of Oman.
