History of Hamed Engineering Services LLC

Poyry & Company LLC was a partnership between Poyry of Finland and Hamed Engineering Services. In January 2013 Poyry sold all its stake in the partnership to Hamed Engineering Services LLC, a fully owned Omani Engineering Company.

The Company has a long history in Oman going back to 1985. It was initially known as Electrowatt Engineering prior to being bought by Poyry.

HES now owns all data, facilities and employs all staff previously employed by Poyry & Company LLC.

HES continues to maintain a relationship with Poyry, and many other international engineering firms such as Amec Foster Wheeler, and will seek their assistance if needed.
